Trials Are Subject To Change

Please call the 24-hour recording at 541-682-5153 after 5 p.m. on the day before the trial to confirm that the case is still scheduled. If this case is not listed on the trial recording, you do not need to appear unless otherwise instructed by the city prosecutor.


Trial Information

Criminal misdemeanor trials and trials for violation cases with retained counsel are held at 9:00 am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at the Eugene Municipal Court (1102 Lincoln). The City Prosecutor’s Office is responsible for sending subpoenas to victims, witnesses, and other involved parties listed within the police report.


Subpoenas

If you’ve received a subpoena from the city prosecutor for an upcoming trial, please call the court’s trial line, 541-682-5153, the evening before you are scheduled to appear to confirm the case is still on for trial.


Often, cases that are set for trial are postponed or resolved prior to the scheduled trial date. Notification of this will not be sent to subpoenaed parties, so please call the trial line, or, if you wish to check on the status of an upcoming trial you may contact our office at any time and speak with the prosecutor assigned to the case.


Please contact our office if:

  • You are unable to appear on the trial date
  • You do not recall the incident or details of the case
  • If your address, phone number or other contact information changes

Witness Fee

To receive payment for witness fee(s) and mileage to and from the court on the day of trial, please complete and sign this portion of the subpoena. Completed subpoenas can be left at the front counter of the court or dropped off or mailed to the City Prosecutor’s Office at in the Public Services Building, 99 West 10th Avenue, Suite 310.
