Green Buildings Program
The City of Eugene’s building inventory includes everything from open air picnic shelters to highly complex buildings such as the Hult Center for Performing Arts.
The goal of the Green City Buildings Program is to contribute to overall environmental efforts, provide healthy indoor spaces, and to reduce operating costs. Acknowledging that a building has impacts throughout its lifespan, the program includes elements that address design and construction, operation and maintenance and finally, disposal of a building or equipment.
